Community Bids
Community Bids for the 2011 / 2012 Budget – Now Closed
The aim of the Community Bids is to grant financial assistance to organisations that provide services or activities that align with the City's strategic plan and deliver sustainable social, environmental and / or economic benefit to the City of Busselton community.
Funding allocations include the following:
- General donations and grants
- Fee waivers (facilities, services and other)
The process under which community groups can apply to the City for financial assistance has been restructured resulting in one single assistance scheme which combines smaller funding programs. Groups who previously applied under the City's Community Environment Grant and Minor Sporting, Recreational and Community Grant schemes are now invited to apply under the Community Bid program.
Community Bids are now processed on a two-tier basis encompassing minor funding applications (up to $5,000) and major funding applications (requesting amounts between $5,001-$50,000). This round of Community Bids is for minor funding applications (up to $5,000 only).
