'Get Active Geographe' - Physical Activity Plan
In January 2009 the City of Busselton received a grant of $20,000 under the Local Activity Grants Program, an initiative run in partnership with the Premier's Physical Activity Taskforce and Western Australian Local Government Association, made possible by a Lotterywest grant. This $20,000 matched by Cash and in-kind sponsorship from the City of Busselton will enable the implementation of the City of Busselton's Physical Activity Plan aptly named ‘Get Active Geographe'(G.A.G).
The objective of the G.A.G project is to implement the City of Busselton's Physical Activity Plan that will provide for a measurable increase in the number of and awareness of physical activity opportunities in the local community.
Refer to the links below to read the Get Active Geographe Physical Activity Plan and the supporting Action Plan which highlights the implementation phase of the plan.
