The Bush Fires Management Committee was established to care for, control and manage the bush fire risk within the district of the Shire of Busselton, including to advise Council on all matters relating to bush fire control, prevention and management, to develop a bush fire strategic plan and to appoint fire control officers as required. The Committee has 27 members.
