The Busselton Foreshore Working Group was established in June 2009 for the purpose of working with the community to design an appropriate concept plan and development guidelines for the revitalisation of the Busselton beachfront and foreshore area.  The area being planned for is the area directly adjacent to the jetty expanding back to Marine Terrace and the surrounding access streets. 

The BFWGs specific brief is:

• To develop and implement a comprehensive consultation model to gain the community and stakeholders views of foreshore development in Busselton
• Prepare a concept plan for the staged development of the Busselton Foreshore
• Provide a report to Council that includes the results of the community consultation, a copy of the concept plan, guidelines for development and a proposal for the stage.
