The Shire of Busselton, in association with Busselton Jetty  Environment and Conservation Association (BJECA), is hosting a gala event to celebrate the official re-opening of the restored Busselton Jetty.

The event, which has been named the Busselton Jetty Fiesta, will take place on Saturday 5 February 2011 from 1.00pm - 9.00pm on the Busselton Foreshore. 

It will coincide with another major Busselton based event - namely the Busselton Jetty Swim.  Celebrations will be spread over the entire first weekend in February, commencing with the Busselton Jets Fun Run scheduled to start at Signal Park early on Saturday 5 February 2011. 

 The Busselton Jetty Fiesta will follow on Saturday afternoon and will include lots of fun activities for the kids, entertainment for the whole family and culminate in a performance from Kate Ceberano & her band and a fantastic fireworks display. 

 On the morning of Sunday the 6 February 2011 the weekend will conclude with over 1,000 people participating in the Busselton Jetty Swim.  As the participants brave the 3.6km swim around the Busselton Jetty, come and join in the entertainment and family fun which will again culminate in a performance from a headline act at around midday.

Transport

We encourage you to take advantage of the free bus service available through the afternoon and evening please click on the below images to download a printable version of the bus routes and the bus timetable.

 Parking

Additional disabled parking for those with an Acrod sticker will be available in the Goose Café Restaurant carpark off Scout Road.  Overflow parking will be available at Signal Park and Barnard Park West, please follow the direction of the parking marshals. 

Road and Carpark Closure

The carpark between the Equinox Café and Nautical Lady will be closed from 12am till 11pm on Saturday February the 5^th.  The side road off Marine Terrace which leads down to this carpark will also be closed between 12am and 11pm on Saturday February 5^th (please refer to the map below). 

Jetty Closure

Due to the fireworks show, the Busselton Jetty will be closed to the public from 5pm on Friday February the 4^th until 7am on Sunday February the 6^th. 

Rubbish

We ask you to make use of the rubbish bins provided and keep our foreshore safe and tidy for the participants of the Busselton Jetty Swim who will brave the waters of Geographe Bay early the next day.
