As a part of the City's commitment to improve the City's shared path network between Busselton and Dunsborough, the Council resolved on 24 March 2010 that conceptual alignment of the Busselton to Dunsborough shared path to be further planned and investigated to establish a clear way forward, to finalize this project.

City Design Officers will now be investigating safest, most cost efficient and effective method of construction for the Caves Road alignment.

Following this investigation Design Officers will then obtain the required approvals from Main Roads, Department of Environment and Conservation and many others prior to any construction being progressed.
