Courthouse - Jail Cells
The ArtGeo Cultural Complex is centrally located at the Northern end of Queen Street, a stone's throw from both the Busselton Jetty and the commercial centre of town. Housed in a State Heritage listed Courthouse and Gaol, the oldest building in Busselton built in 1854 and comprises a courtroom, jail cells, stable, post office, sergeant's quarters and bond store.
The Complex offers the community, South West residents and visitors a unique cultural experience.
ArtGeo Art Gallery
The ArtGeo Gallery has an ever changing schedule of exhibitions that showcase regional and WA arts from new ideas to more traditional artwork and crafts. Credit card and Eftpos services are available in the Gallery.
The Complex incorporates history and heritage, community arts, workshops, studios and arts and crafts residencies. Visitors can purchase examples of local arts in this distinctive building steeped in local history.
The centre is open daily from 10am - 4pm (ArtGeo Gallery is closed on Wednesday)
