Special Media Briefing Launch the Calling of Submissions for the Revitalisation of the Busselton Foreshore - 12 November 2009
Chair of the Busselton Foreshore Working Group Helen Shervington and City of Busselton President Cr, Ian Stubbs will be holding a special media briefing on Friday 13 November 2009 at 10:30 am at the Equinox Café to discuss the calling of community submissions for the revitalisation of the Busselton Foreshore.
Chair of the Busselton Foreshore Working Group, Helen Shervington said "We are looking forward to the community telling us what they would like to see and do along the foreshore. This submission process is a great chance for the community to tell us what they really want. I hope the local community embraces this opportunity and votes with their pens or online."
City of Busselton President Cr, Ian Stubbs said "The Jetty is the fourth highest visited tourist attraction in the state and the foreshore is a popular location for locals and tourists. We are looking forward to a dynamic foreshore that the community will enjoy for years to come."
The South West Development Commission Board will meet with the Busselton Foreshore Working Group tomorrow to discuss the future of the foreshore.
City of Busselton President, Cr Ian Stubbs, Shire staff, the Busselton Foreshore Working Group and the board from the South West Development Commission will all be available for and interview/photo opportunity.
