Dunsborough & Quindalup Boat Ramp Improvements (17th December, 2007)
The City of Busselton has just completed improvement works and up grading of the Old Dunsborough and Quindalup Sea Rescue boat launching facilities.
Quindalup Finger Jetty
Both projects were jointly funded by the Shire and the Department of Planning and Infrastructure (DPI) under the Recreational Boating Facilities Scheme (RBFS).
The Quindalup project involved widening of the existing finger jetty and extension of the existing pedestrian ramp to provide safe all weather access and to improve rescue operations from sea to shore. Old Dunsborough Boat Ramp
The Old Dunsborough boat ramp in Bay View Crescent has been replaced with a wider and longer concrete structure to improve access for recreational boat owners and to address safety concerns associated with erosion at the end of the old ramp.
END.
