The purpose of the Environmental Reference Group is to act as a sounding board in relation to strategic and policy direction of the Shire's Environmental operations. Staff and Council are able to refer matters of environmental significance to the group for advice or opinion. The Environmental Reference Group is not a formal committee of Council however it can initiate discussion and action on environmental issues it believes significant within the Shire.
