Senior Development Planner
In this role you will be responsible for assisting the Coordinator Statutory Planning to ensure the timely delivery of sound planning decisions and statutory town planning services to Council and the community.
As a Senior Planner you will posses a high level of skill in the assessment of complex and straight forward applications, utilising effective time management and communications skills in mentoring planners and colleagues, and lead by example in providing quality customer service to the community.
Importantly you will be enthusiastic and committed to continuous improvement, both in your own development and the environment in which you operate, and provide vital input into the operational effectiveness of policy guiding the future of the City ofBusselton.
To be successful in gaining this position you must also have:
- Bachelor of Arts in urban and Regional Planning or similar qualification
- Minimum of 5 years experience in the administration of the Planning and Development Act 2005 with focus on subdivision, development approval and appeal processes
- Highly developed collaborative negotiation and communication skills
