Nominations are now open for the 2013 Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Awards. These awards, which recognize individuals and groups who are making an outstanding contribution to our community, will be presented by the Mayor at the Australia Day community celebration in January next year.

There are three nomination categories: the Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Award; the Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Award for a Person under 25 Years; and the Premier’s Australia Day Active Citizenship Award for a Community Group or Event.

To nominate a group or individual please fill in the nomination form available below. More information on theses awards, including nomination criteria, can be found on the Australia Day Council of WA website www.ausdaywa.com.au

In order for the City to meet the nomination close-off, please return completed nomination forms to Meredith Dixon, City of Busselton Locked Bag 1, and BUSSELTONWA6280 before November 14, 2012.  Alternatively, nominations can be emailed to meredith.dixon@busselton.wa.gov.au.
