Community Input Sought on Sustainability Assessment Criteria - Busselton Foreshore Consultation Model - 19 October 2009
The Busselton Foreshore Working Group invites members of the community to give feedback on the Sustainability Assessment Criteria. The Criteria is part of the Consultation Model developed by the Busselton Foreshore Working Group, to gather community input on how the foreshore could look in the future.

Seven Councillors were elected to the Council of the Shire of Busselton when the result was declared on Saturday, 17 October.

Western Ringtail Possums Dine Well at Kookaburra Caravan Park - 16 October 2009
Busselton's Kookaburra Caravan Park is a well known stronghold for the endangered Western Ringtail Possum. A recent night survey revealed over 46 possums feeding and resting on the unique West Australian Peppermint Trees.
Flight Training Stopped at Busselton Regional Airport - 8 October 2009
Busselton Shire President, Cr Wes Hartley, has said "Today Flight Training Operators will be advised by the Shire of Busselton that the Busselton Regional Airport cannot be used for flight training unless valid planning approvals exist and that future flight training will require planning approval in accordance with the Town Planning Scheme 20".
Leavers' Community Appreciation Fund Round One 2009 Now Open for the Dunsborough Community - 8 October 2009
Leavers' Week will soon be upon us for 2009, and a positive outcome is that non-government and not-for-profit groups are invited to apply for funding for initiatives that benefit the Dunsborough community, from funds raised during Leavers' Week activities.
Two rounds are offered each year, with Round One now open for 2009.
