State's Offer Accepted, Federal Government's Awaited (3rd October, 2007)
Council at its meeting on Wednesday night (26th September) resolved to accept the State's offer to fund its portion of the Busselton Jetty rebuild and through negotiation secure the best long term outcome for the community.
Busselton Town Centre Beach Restoration - Community Comment Sought (26th September, 2007)
Community comment is sought on the options available for a permanent solution to the groyne field layout at the Busselton Town Centre beach by 12th October, 2007.
Options for Ratepayers (19th September, 2007)
Ratepayers have a number of payment options available to them to pay their rates as the City of Busselton's rates notice arrives in mail boxes soon.
Shire President, Bev Clarke said that "no one likes to receive yet another bill in the mail but remember that your contribution assists in providing a wide range of facilities and services that most of us take for granted."
Local Schools Working with Local Government (18th September, 2007)
Nine primary schools within the City of Busselton have eagerly participated in a Local Government Week promotion by submitting artworks prepared by students in a competition to design a local Christmas Card.
Shire President, Bev Clarke said the program was about raising awareness amongst primary school children about local government.
