The weighbridge at the Dunsborough Waste Facility came into operation on 1 July 2009.  All commercial waste was charged by weight from that date.  The following fees inclusive of GST, as advertised in the Council's Fees and Charges, are applicable for 2010/11 (per 100kg):

• General Waste $3.50
• Building Waste $3.50
• Clean Green Waste $2.60
• Contaminated Green Waste $4.50
• Liquid Waste $4.00
• Asbestos $10.00
• Bricks and Concrete $1.00
• Clean Fill no charge
• Minimum Weighbridge Charge $15.00

Staff reserve the right to apply contaminated green waste fees to loads containing green waste which are not suitable for mulching; general waste fees to loads of bricks and concrete which are contaminated by other products, and general waste fees to loads of clean fill which are not suitable for use as cover material.
