Expressions of interest are sought from Dunsborough Community Groups for funding from the Leavers Community Appreciation Fund.  Following Leavers celebrations which occur in November, non-government and not for profit groups are invited to apply for funding for initiatives that benefit the Dunsborough community.

The Shire of Busselton has achieved its first milestone towards reducing its carbon footprint by completing an inventory of  the amount of greenhouse gas emissions generated by the Shire's own activities, local residents and businesses.

The Shire of Busselton is encouraging locals to attend the Community Information Forum. The aim of the forum is to familiarise community members with information about some of the services that are readily available through Busselton community groups and services.

The Shire of Busselton in partnership with Geocatch will be planting additional Peppermint trees within road reserves through the Shire's urban areas. Residential areas between Brown Road and Ford Road in Busselton will see the beginning of an improved habitat for the Western Ringtail Possum.
