Seven Councillors were elected to the Council of the Shire of Busselton when the result was declared on Saturday, 17 October. They were:

Grant Henley
David Reid
Jackie Emery
Len Boyling
Gordon Bleechmore
Terry Best
They will all serve four year terms.

Vietnam Veterans Day - Long Tan Remembrance
Vietnam Veterans day - Battle of long Tan is a memorial for Vietnam Veterans on the 18th of August at Memorial Park in Busselton. Coordinated by the RSL, the event will remember Australian Veterans who participated in the Vietnam War.
