Events, tourism and marketing in the City of Busselton are set to get a vital injection of funding with the introduction of a differential rating system in 2011-2012.
Council has endorsed the introduction a 6% rate increase per annum for ratepayers in industrial and commercial land use zones.
Notice of Additional Fees and Charges - 2008/09 Financial Year
The City of Busselton intends to impose an additional Fee and Charge to its presently adopted 2008/09 Schedule of Fees and Charges.
In accordance with Council Resolution CO808/232 (13 August 2008) a fee and charge will be imposed for use of the Busselton Regional Airports Fly-In-Fly-Out (FIFO) Carpark.

Shire commits $23Million to community work (27 August 2004)

The City of Busselton has committed $23 Million to roads and footpaths, community amenities, recreation and culture.
The balanced budget of $33 Million was adopted at a special meeting of Council on Wednesday, August 18.
