Bookings - Public Open Space

If you are planning an event, wedding ceremony, school excursion or private function on a City of Busselton managed park or reserve, please ensure that you make a booking and you are fully aware of what is permitted at each Public Open Space by reading the Rules and Regulations located below in Related Documents.  By making a booking the City can ensure that no one else has made a booking at that place or routine maintenance is not in progress.

Wedding Ceremonies:

Wedding Ceremony bookings are for a maximum 2 hour period, allowing for set-up/pack-up, ceremony and photos with a charge of $82.00.  Wedding guidelines are included in the Public Open Spaces – Rules and Regulations located below in Related Documents

We can supply information about the availability of electricity, water, bins, BBQs and toilets.

To secure your booking you will need to submit the Facility Hire Form (The form must be printed and signed before being submitted) and the Application to Consume Liquor form (if applicable).

If a fee is payable an invoice will be sent to you.  Once payment has been received this will secure your booking.

Your permit will then be issued. 

Cleaning and Waste

Hirer’s are responsible for the disposal of their recyclable and non-recyclable rubbish into the bins provided at the Public Open Space. 

If no bins are provided then the Hirer must remove all rubbish from the Public Open Space. Cleaning costs, waste removal costs or costs to repair damage will be charge in accordance with the terms of the Contract of Hire caused during the Hire Period.
