Busselton Winter Jumping Festival 2022
Friday 3rd June 2022 - Sunday 5th June 2022
(Past Event)
The Busselton Winter Jumping Festival has been hosted by Busselton Horse and Pony Club Inc. for 20 years. The festival has grown from a small local show to an integral part of the WA Equestrian Calendar. Both local and intrastate competitors are offered the chance to compete on well designed courses at the club's lovely grounds. Taking place over the Western Australia Day holiday in June each year, it's a popular event for locals and visitors alike.
This year the Festival has 140 competitors from as far away as Geraldton to Esperance who stay the weekend in Busselton. Competitors range from professional show jumpers to 6 year old novice jumpers, with classes for all. The Busselton Toyota arena caters for bigger heights and offers qualifiers for EWA Junior & Young Riders, Novice, Silver, Bronze and Jumping Horse of the Year championships. The Oils2U Arena holds classes 45 cm to 1.04 m and includes one novelty class on Saturday, the Chase Me Charlie, which is very popular.
The Festival also awards Hi-Point Off the Track Thoroughbred rugs in both arenas. This is hotly contested with over 40 OTT’s competing at the Busselton Winter Jumping Festival.
Over $10,000 in prizes, prize money, rugs and vouchers to be won!
A festival atmosphere is enhanced with the best pony club canteen in the South West, coffee vans and a busy equestrian retail village.
Free entry for spectators.
