March Marathon - Busselton Jetty

The team at the Busselton Jetty would like to invite you to be a part of our history by joining us this March as we recreate and celebrate the amazing 579km feat John Bussell and the Save Our Busselton Jetty Organisation (SOBJO) achieved in 1979. John walked 151 laps of the Jetty over 10 days, raising money for its restoration and future use after Cyclone Alby destroyed the first 700m of the original Jetty in April 1978.

From March 15 to 25 we will be challenging our community to walk as much as possible with every lap able to be sponsored similar to a school lapathon and proceeds going to the BJEF. Those wanting to be part of the event will have access to their own online fundraising platform making it possible to record your walk anytime, anywhere with one lap being 3.6km.

Participation will not only serve as a contribution to this fundraising event but will also allow the community to join us for our Family Fun Day on 25 March, at no extra cost!
