- Exhibition in the New Courtroom, Old Courthouse Complex, Queen St Busselton
- Events:
The Colours of nature and the desire to instil a sense of well-being drives the latest exhibition in the Old Courthouse Complex.
Artist and art therapist Joan Parke’s latest collection of works feature a wide range of media based around the colours of nature. Brilliant acrylics sparkle against soothing watercolour, taking the viewer from dramatic to soothing.
Joan enjoys bringing a vast range of colour usually found outdoors in our gardens, the beach or our beautiful night skies into homes to contribute to our sense of well-being. Joan is also passionate about painting mandalas. Inspired by the many circles found in nature that have beautiful designs within them, Joan is holding a workshop on basic mandala painting. Details can be found on the Old Courthouse Facebook page.
The Colours of Nature’s Palette opens in the New Courtroom Saturday 29 April 2023 at 2.00pm with a fun get together, including chocolates and berries. Entry is free.
