Nine playgrounds and public open spaces in total have been rejuvenated just in time for Christmas. Did you know the Replas outdoor furniture made from recycled material has been used across the nine parks? This equates to approximately 1,443 kilos or 360,750 plastic bags!
Playgrounds and Parks Upgraded
Dunsborough
- Lot 16 Geographe Bay Rd - new Playground and surrounds
- Lot 480 Geographe Bay Rd – new exercise equipment, outdoor settings and water supply
Cambridge / Abbey
- Monash POS - new junior pump-track and playground
- Wagon POS - large new Playground and surrounds
- Limestone Quarry (Kooljak) - large new Playground and surrounds
Busselton
- Dawson Park (MacIntyre Street) - new Playground and paths
- Kingfish / Costello – upgraded playground and new garden beds
- Dolphin Boatramp carpark – new carpark surrounds / drainage / paths / nature play / shade and seating
- Kingsford POS (Beaufort Crescent) – new trees / playground / Limestone track
Finishing touches will occur next week, ready to enjoy over the summer holidays.
