Get Involved - Saltwater

Saltwater will be a place for us all to meet, connect and socialise. You can enjoy year-round events, dancing at a concert, laughing at a comedy, taking the kids to a show or watching loved ones sing, dance and play. It will give back to the community the Civic Centre, lost over 20 years ago.

Be Part of a World Premier

Busselton production ‘Busstop’ was one of four West Australian creative projects to share in $557, 535 in grant funding to create performances in regional WA. The production was awarded $148,687 by the McGowan Government’s Made in WA funding and will be directed by multi award winning artist Kelton Pell.

‘Busstop’ is a collective aspiration of the local community who approached the City of Busselton with the idea of telling the untold Aboriginal stories of the Wadandi people.

The musical comedy will be the first local production to premiere at Saltwater, produced locally in Busselton and made possible by the realisation of the new performing arts and convention centre, which is already proving to be a catalyst for arts and culture in the region.

If you should like to be involved with this World Premiere in Busselton, let us know. We would love to hear from you. To register your interest please email precinct@busselton.wa.gov.au
