As part of the Council Plan 2024-2034, the City’s role in advocating for a range of outcomes to benefit the community is clearly defined.

A Stakeholder Advocacy Plan 2024-2025 was endorsed by the Council in December 2024, and this will guide the approach the City takes when advocating for key strategic priorities.

The Stakeholder Advocacy Plan is published below along with a suite of Position Papers which have been developed to assist City representatives when engaging key stakeholders. These Position Papers will be updated from time to time as progress is made. The most current versions are below.
