Pay My Rates
This page provides you with information about the various payment options and methods you can use to pay your rates.
You will need your Property Reference Number which can be found on the top right hand side of your Rate Notice.
To sign up to e-Rates, simply go to our eRates page and fill out the form.
Online
Use our online payment portal to pay your rates.

BPay
Use your online banking site to pay for your rates using BPay.

Phone
Ratepayers can call our 24-hour secure payment line on 1300 276 468. Only MasterCard and Visa are accepted. You will need to enter your Property Reference Number.
In Person
You can pay your rates in person at City of Busselton Civic Administration Building at 2 Southern Drive, Busselton.
Present your Rates Notice to the cashier. Payments can be made via EFTPOS, cash, Mastercard or Visa card.
Payment Options
Option 1 - Pay in Full
Pay on or before 15 September 2023 the full amount of your annual rates notice, plus any **overdue interest.
(** A new full payment amount should be obtained by calling (08) 9781 0444 if the annual notice states that overdue interest is accruing.)
Option 2 - Pay in 4 Instalments (No longer available.)
Pay via four instalments on the following dates:
- 15 September 2023
- 15 November 2023
- 15 January 2024
- 15 March 2024
To elect the 4 instalment option will require payment on or before 15 September 2023 of the 1st instalment plus any **overdue interest.
(**A new 1st instalment amount should be obtained by calling (08) 9781 0444 if the annual notice states that overdue interest is accruing.)
Option 3 - EasyRates Weekly (No longer available.)
If you successfully registered for this option then direct debit payments will be made on the following dates.

Make a Payment Arrangement
To make a payment arrangement will require completion, including the direct debit section, of the below proposal form. Once completed then please send the form to the City by email at city@busselton.wa.gov.au or by post to Locked Bag 1, Busselton WA 6280 for consideration. Or deliver it in person to the City at 2 Southern Drive Busselton.
The proposal form should be received by the City before any notice or demand letter due date with the payment amount being sufficient to effect clearance by the 31st March of the current financial year.
Please note any approved payment proposal will be subject to various terms and conditions, including an arrangement fee and overdue interest accrual.
Note: Rate payments as proposed should be met even if a decision on the proposal is yet to be received.

You can opt in to receive your rates notice electronically (see the options below).
Before you start - you will need your properties reference number which is located in the top right hand corner of your notice.

To receive your rates notice electronically via your online banking site, please log on to your banking site, select BPayView and complete the registration.
