Busking 

We think we have some pretty talented people in the City of Busselton! 

We welcome buskers as a way of creating vibrancy and interest to public spaces, encouraging social interactions, and fostering opportunities for performers to get out there and be noticed (after all, John Butler was a busker once too!)

The City has created designated ‘busk stops’ at various locations across Busselton, Dunsborough, Yallingup and Vasse. All of our busk stops are signposted with the blue sign shown to the right. Click on the town centre headings below to view the exact locations.

If you would like to busk at one of these locations, you will first need to read the Terms and Conditions, then apply for a busking permit below.

  • Corner of Queen St and Duchess St (Subculture Retail Store)
  • Fig Tree Lane, Prince St end and Kent St end
  • Mitchell Park, corner Queen and Prince Street
  • Busselton Cultural Precinct
  • Foreshore, base of the Busselton Jetty

Dunsborough

  • Garden between Coles and Unit 1/12 Napoleon Promenade.

Busking for Minors

Any busker under the age of 18 years must have a parent or guardian complete and agree to the following parental consent of this application form. By selecting 'yes' below, you hereby give consent for your child/ward listed above to busk in the City of Busselton. You understand the City of Busselton does not provide supervision of buskers under 18 years of age. You acknowledge you are responsible for your child/ward at all times while they are busking or ensure that they have in their possession a signed authority provided by you indicating their approved supervisor.
