Great Southern Wine Odyssey – Busselton Edition
Sunday 4th October 2026
Taste your way through the world’s largest wine region, in one seaside afternoon at Shelter.
Across the Great Southern Wine Region, vines sink their roots into ancient ironstone gravels, sandy loams and clay soils derived from gneissic and granite bedrocks. These distinctive soils, combined with the coolest climate in Western Australia, help shape wines of purity, elegance and complexity.
Vast plains, ancient ranges, altitude, aspect and the influence of the Southern Ocean create a remarkable diversity of growing conditions. The result is a region where the same variety can take an entirely different path. At Great Southern Wine Odyssey, we invite you to create your own journey.
