The City of Busselton has received a Development Application to use and/or develop land for the following purpose and public comments are invited.

Property: Lot 9044 and 9047 Joseph Drive Yalyalup 

Proposed Development: Use Not Listed (Independent Living Complex)

The proposal comprises:

  • 307 residential lease sites, accommodating up to 364 dwellings (some duplex configurations) designed for persons aged over 55
  • Communal Facilities

Details of the proposal are available on the City’s online engagement portal called ‘Your Say’ https://yoursay.busselton.wa.gov.au/da26-0532

Please register online and complete the survey to make a submission regarding this proposal on or before 4 November 2026.

If you do not have access to the internet or a computer, the proposal is available for viewing and completing a submission online at the City of Busselton Civic and Administration Centre, 2 Southern Drive, Busselton; or alternatively at the Busselton or Dunsborough Libraries.

Please be aware that details of your submission may be made available to the applicant for the opportunity to respond.

In certain instances, your submission may also be used to form part of a Council report making it a public document.
