Significant Act During Caretaker Period – Microsoft Licensing Contract

In accordance with Section 3.73(4) of the Local Government Act 1995 and Regulation 3B of the Local Government (Functions and General) Regulations 1996, the City of Busselton gives local public notice of its intention to undertake a significant act during the caretaker period for the upcoming local government elections.

Details of Proposed Significant Act

The City intends to enter into a contract for Microsoft licensing to support its ongoing ICT operations and compliance requirements. The contract will be executed during the caretaker period.
The contract is scheduled to be signed on or after 22 September 2025, during the caretaker period.

Details of Council Decision

At its Ordinary Meeting held on 27 August 2025, Council resolved to accept a quotation for the provision of Microsoft licensing services. This decision was made prior to the commencement of the caretaker period.
