Temporary closure of the Vasse Dog Park

The City has been advised by the developer that the Vasse Dog Park has been temporarily closed.

The recent high rainfall through June and July and the heavy use of the Vasse Dog Park since its opening has meant that the newly laid turf within the park has deteriorated.

This closure will limit the damage to the turf for the balance of winter and enable the turf to bounce back quickly in spring, where it will then reopen for the benefit of all dog owners.
