Temporary Road Impacts – February to March 2026

The City of Busselton advises that a film production working in the region will require short‑term road closures and traffic management at several locations in February and March.
The production company is working closely with the City, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions (DBCA), Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage (DPLH), Department of Transport (DOT), and Main Roads to facilitate the necessary approvals.
- Tuesday 10 February – Naturaliste
Windmills Beach access track will be closed between 8.00am and 8.00pm.
- Wednesday 11 February – Ludlow
A section of Tuart Drive (between Layman Road and Ludlow Road North) will be closed from 6.00am to 7.00pm.
- Monday 16 February – Busselton (Prince Street)
Prince Street will remain open, however some parking bays on Prince Street will be utilised between 6.00am and 2.00pm, with pedestrian management in place.
- Monday 16 February – Busselton (Wright/Goldsmith Streets)
Stop/slow traffic control will operate near Busselton Auto Dismantlers from 11.00am to 11.00pm.
Canal Rocks Road (including access to The Aquarium) and Boat Ramp will be closed to all public access from 5am Tues 3 March until 7pm Thurs 5 March.
- Friday 6 March – Windmills Beach
Windmills Beach access track will be closed between 5am and 8pm, with traffic management in place. Pedestrian management will be in place on Windmills Beach.
- Monday 9 – Thursday 12 March – Bunker Bay Beach
Vehicles will be accessing the beach via Bunker Bay Road 6am – 8.45pm daily. There will be drone filming and pedestrian management in the area.
- Friday 13 March – Sugarloaf Road and Shelley Cove
Sugarloaf Road and carpark will be closed 5am – 4.30pm.
Bunker Bay Road (between Farmbreak Lane and Shelley Cove carpark) will be closed to public access 5am – 10pm.
Traffic management will be in place in both locations.
