Triple J One Night Stand road closures & event conditions - Saturday 24 May 2025

On Saturday 24 May, 2025 Barnard Park, Busselton will play host to the triple J One Night Stand – a one-day, all-ages, alcohol and drug free music festival designed to bring Australian artists to regional towns across Australia. The event will be broadcast live nationally via triple J radio with event film production also taking place onsite.

To facilitate set up, safety of patrons and minimise impacts to surrounding areas, the following event conditions will be in place:

Access to Barnard Park (West) and adjacent parking areas:

These areas will be closed for the duration of the event occupation, Monday 19 May - Tuesday 27 May 2025.

Carparks adjacent to Barnard Park Pavilion, between Marine Terrace and Geographe Bay Road
Carpark on Geographe Bay Road, at the west end of Barnard Park (West)

Road closures and changed traffic conditions:

On Saturday 24 May 2025 from 12.00noon to 11.00pm:

Geographe Bay Road between Foreshore Parade and Carey Street will be closed
Traffic detours will be in place in the vicinity and traffic will be restricted to 40 km/hr

Event Transport:

Pre-booked transport (buses) will pick up and drop off along Geographe Bay Road between Foreshore Parade and Carey Street
Private vehicles, taxis & ride share can drop-off and pick-up ticket holders on Carey Street between Marine Terrace and Geographe Bay Road
Event Parking is available at Churchill Park for a $5 entry fee (entry via Brown Street)
Other parking is available as signposted around the Busselton Foreshore & CBD areas

Noise:

The event will comply with monitored noise limits with layout designed to minimise impacts to nearby areas. Sound amplification will be used during the following periods:

Friday 23 May 2025

2.00pm – 8.00pm System checks & sound checks

Saturday 24 May 2025

10.00am – 1.30pm System checks & sound checks
2.00pm – 10.00pm Main PA systems at show level for live music
