Vincent Street and Bay View Crescent, Dunsborough - Refurbishment of sea walls

City of Busselton will soon begin coastal protection works along Vincent Street and Bay View Crescent in Dunsborough.
These works follow community consultation earlier this year and are an important step in helping to protect the foreshore, nearby properties and public infrastructure from ongoing coastal erosion.
The project will involve trucks and earthmoving machinery transporting and placing a significant quantity of rock along the foreshore to form a seawall for coastal and property protection. While the works are underway, residents and visitors may notice increased vehicle movements, construction noise, temporary fencing and changes to access around the work area.
Works will be carried out Monday to Saturday, excluding public holidays, between 7.00am and 6.00pm. Site set-up activities, including the installation of temporary fencing, will commence from Tuesday 29 September 2026. Once the site has been established, carting and placement of rock will begin.
The project is expected to be completed by December 2026, weather permitting.
