Wandering dogs may attack people, wildlife or other animals.
It is the responsibility of an owner to keep their dog securely confined to the property by means of adequate fencing and gates.

Book a Cat Trap
The City has cat traps available for residents to trap cats on their property. Trapped animals are to be treated humanely at all times.
A fully refundable $100 bond is payable when collecting the trap.

Livestock Straying
Livestock straying on public roads present a significant risk to motorists, particularly at night. Livestock includes cows, calves, sheep, goats, horses and any other domesticated farm animals (it does not include dogs, cats or wildlife).
