A Brief History of Drunking - Busselton Fringe 2024

Sunday 10th March 2024

(Past Event)

Humans have known how to party for a very long time. Scientists say (and who are we to argue) that our modern love of alcohol can be traced to the ancient past and that social drinking played a key role in our evolution as we developed into big-brained, social primates. From stone age binge drinking to the Aussie Rum Rebellion and the humble goon bag, we have a whole hysterical history of drinking booze.

Prepare to be brewed away in this interactive, fun fact (and grog gag) filled, tribute to the great cultural pastime of getting on the “nectar of the gods”.

Hosted by comedian and self-proclaimed Spiritsualist Dr Phil Good. Includes visuals/presentations of historical alcohol artifacts/facts and prizes/giveaways during the show. Please arrive 30 minutes prior to showtime.
