Busselton Jetty Swim 2027
Saturday 13th February 2027 - Sunday 14th February 2027
Busselton Jetty Swim is a renowned open water swimming event that takes place over two days in February each year. It features a 3.6 km swim around the iconic Busselton Jetty.
Now in its 30th year, the event has become a significant highlight on the Australian recreational calendar, drawing swimmers from around the world. While the inaugural event in 1996 had only 82 participants, an astonishing 5,800 swimmers are expected to participate in 2027.
The event offers various distances to accommodate swimmers of all ages and abilities. For those not ready to tackle the signature 3.6 km swim solo, teams of 2 or 4 can participate together.
There is also the One Mile Swim to Shore, which involves jumping off the end of the Jetty and swimming 1.6 km to the finish line.
Participants can choose to swim under the Jetty in Simon’s 500m Shortcut Swim, or there is a dedicated Kids Swim for younger participants.
For those who prefer to stay dry, there are numerous entertainment options and activities available, including the family-friendly Busselton Jetty Swim Sunset Concert, which is free to attend.
