Building a Shed or Outbuilding
A Shed or outbuilding is a free-standing enclosed structure which is not lived in, such as a shed, workshop, storage space or gym area.
You need a building permit before starting construction on any shed or outbuilding when the build is over 10sq metres in size. Any masonry structure more than 0.75m in height will require a building permit.
