Caves Road Verge Litter Clean-Up
Wednesday 22nd April 2026
Ever noticed local roadside litter?
Let's work together to make a lasting impact — one step at a time!
Join us for an impactful morning as we tackle litter along Caves Road, as part of The Dunsborough Litter Project.
We will meet at Bailey Brewing Co carpark and walk along Caves Rd for a total distance of 2.2km (1.1km each way) along the roadside, collecting litter. Please note a Traffic Management Plan will be in place to support a safe working environment.
What is The Dunsborough Litter Project?
This community-driven project is about reducing local litter through education and action. The City of Busselton is inviting volunteers to participate in safe litter collection along roadsides in order to quantify the amount and types of roadside litter and encouraging long-term behavioural change to reduce future littering.
✅ What protective clothing you are required to wear to participate in the litter clean-up:
- Sturdy, closed-toe shoes
- Long pants
- Hat & sun protection
- Water bottle
Please note: A high vis vest, gloves and litter tongs will be supplied.
A FREE thank you lunch at Bailey Brewing Co. will be provided to participants afterwards!
