Djinda Kaatijin

Wednesday 12th August 2026 - Wednesday 12th August 2026

Yirra Yaakin Theatre Company's Djinda Kaatijin is a vibrant and engaging theatre production that teaches us about the significance of the stars in Noongar storytelling, imagination, and creativity.

The play invites audiences to pause, reflect, and ‘look up’, stepping away from the distractions of everyday life to appreciate the stars, their stories, and our shared history

With its mix of humour, heart, and cultural knowledge, Djinda Kaatijin offers both entertainment and learning, making it an ideal show for schools, community groups, and families.

The show runs for approximately 50 minutes, and is usually followed by a short Q&A session with the actors.

The show is suitable for ages five and up, making it a fantastic primary school show that appeals to children, parents, and grandparents alike.
