Public Question Time

The City of Busselton welcomes community participation during public question time.

We encourage members of the public to submit questions in advance.

Questions to be asked at a Council Meeting must be submitted by 4pm the day prior to the meeting.

Questions to be asked at a Committee Meeting must be submitted by 4pm the day prior to the relevant Committee Meeting. 

When submitting a question please note the following.

• Questions must relate to ordinary business
• Questions should be concise
• Public question time is not for members of the community to make statements

Please note that you (or a person on your behalf) must be in attendance to ask your question as part of public question time. It will be responded to administratively otherwise. 

Public Question Time is governed by the Local Government Act 1995, the Local Government (Administration) Regulations and the City of Busselton Standing Orders Local Law 2018.
