Published on Wednesday, 20 August 2025 at 10:24:00 AM

Update - 20 August 2025

Construction is currently about halfway along St Michaels Parkway heading toward the roundabout at Dunsborough Lakes Drive. One lane is temporarily closed, with detours in place. Traffic management is active to ensure the safety of both workers and road users.

Installation of the non-potable water link is scheduled to be completed on time by the end of August 2025. There will be rectification works that will need to be completed, once the installation is finalised.

The City of Busselton will be undertaking essential infrastructure works to improve irrigation water security in the Dunsborough area.

Works will involve the installation of a non-potable water link between the Old Dunsborough Oval and the new Dunsborough Lakes Ovals. This project will connect the two irrigation systems to support long-term sustainability and water efficiency.

The works will affect the following roads:

  • Dunsborough Lakes Drive
  • St Michaels Parkway
  • Resort Drive

Works are scheduled to commence in late July 2025 and are expected to be completed by late August 2025, with works occurring between the hours of 7.00am and 4.00pm, Monday to Friday.

While there will be temporary road restrictions in place during this time, please note there will be no lane closures, and only general traffic management will be implemented to ensure the safety of workers and road users.

Every effort will be made to minimise inconvenience, and we appreciate your patience and cooperation during these works.
