Road closures and/or changed traffic conditions

The City of Busselton advises that a film production working in the region will require short‑term road closures and/or traffic management at several locations in May and June 2026.
The production company is working closely with the City, the Department of Biodiversity, Conservation and Attractions, Department of Planning, Lands and Heritage, Karri Karrak Aboriginal Corporation, Department of Transport, and Main Roads to facilitate necessary approvals.
- Tuesday 12 May – Wednesday 13 May – Wilyabrup
Honeycombs Beach access track from Moses Rock Road will be closed from 7.00am 12 May, to 5.00pm 13 May with traffic management in place.
- Thursday 14 May - Wilyabrup
Road closure on Moses Rock Road (Local traffic only) between 8.00am and 6.00pm with traffic management in place.
- Friday 15 May – Busselton (City of Busselton Administration and Rotary Park)
Some essentials and crew parking will be utilised in within the City Admin car park and Rotary Park.
- Monday 18 May to Wednesday 20 May - Busselton (Queen Street, between Adelaide Tce and Marine Tce)
Filming in nearby buildings between 7.00am – 5.15pm daily. Some pedestrian controls for area in place Tuesday from approx. 12.30pm - 5.15pm and Wednesday 10.30am – 3.00pm. Additional crew and unit base parking in Signal Park.
- Thursday 21 May - Busselton (Gale Street)
Filming in an adjacent business venue with essentials parking along Gale Street.
Unit base and crew parking, Signal Park.
- Friday 22 May – Busselton (Prince Street)
Filming scheduled between 11.00am – 4.00pm at Shop 6, 69 Prince Street (Busselton Boulevard Shopping Centre). Prince Street open with stop/slow traffic control in place along Prince Street from Queen Street entry. Pedestrian management in film area. Some car park bays closed adjacent to Shop 6/69 Prince Street and Post Office.
Additional film essentials parking will be allocated in some bays of the City managed carpark between Busselton Library and Busselton Boulevard Shopping Centre. Film unit base and crew parking at Signal Park.
- Friday 22 May – Busselton (4 Adelaide Street)
Filming will take place at 4 Adelaide Street between 4.45pm - 9.15pm. A road closure will be in place on Adelaide Street between West Street and Queen Street. Essential parking will be located on West Street with unit base/crew parking at Signal Park.
- Monday 25 May to Friday 29 May – Naturaliste (Point Piquet and Eagle Bay-Meelup Road)
Road closures in place from approx 12.00pm – 11.15pm Eagle Bay-Meelup Road between Eagle Bay Beach (west) and Meelup Beach. Access to Eagle Bay will be via Eagle Bay Road during daily closure.
Pedestrian controls in place along Meelup – Eagle Bay Walk Trail.
Point Piquet parking areas will be closed throughout to facilitate unit base, essentials and crew parking. There will be land-based, aquatic and drone filming in Point Piquet area during this period.
- Thursday 4 June – Hithergreen (Ludlow-Hithergreen Road)
Road closure for Ludlow-Hithergreen Road between Vasse Highway and Palmer Road from approx 9.00am – 7.15pm.
- Friday 5 June – Dunsborough (Dunsborough Hall, Gibney Street and Gifford Road)
Stop/slow traffic control from 10.00am – 2.30pm on Gibney Street, Gifford Road, Chapman Street and Sayers Street area near Dunsborough Hall.
- Friday 5 June – Dunsborough (1 Seagrass Cove)
Road closure on Seagrass Cove adjacent to filming area approx 3.00pm to 8.45pm to support external filming
