Christian Fletcher exhibition coming to Saltwater Gallery

Published on Wednesday, 10 June 2026 at 4:39:43 PM

Saltwater Gallery is set to present a captivating new exhibition, A Moment of Stillness by acclaimed Western Australian photographer Christian Fletcher.

Opening on 27 June 2026 and running through to 26 July 2026, the exhibition brings together early and recent photographic works from Christian’s career spanning more than three decades.

A Moment of Stillness invites us to pause, reflect and reconnect with the natural world through the lens of one of WA’s most recognisable landscape photographers. Across the exhibition, moments of quiet emerge through changing weather, shifting perspectives and the play of light.

City of Busselton Mayor Phill Cronin said Christian Fletcher’s exhibition, A Moment of Stillness, features a stunning collection of regional landscapes celebrating the natural beauty of the South West.

A Moment of Stillness will be presented at Saltwater Gallery as part of Christian’s City of Busselton Art Award prize. Christian is widely regarded as one of the region’s most renowned artists, with photography that resonates strongly with locals and visitors alike. This exhibition is especially fitting for Saltwater Busselton, where the interior design, foyer artwork and colour palette all reflect the beauty of the surrounding landscape,” Mayor Cronin said.

Mayor Cronin said “Saltwater is a special place for the community to come together and enjoy the arts, culture and events for which the region is renowned as the Events Capital of WA.

“Saltwater Gallery is open daily and free to enter from 10.00am to 4.00pm, and I encourage everyone to visit and enjoy this exhibition. The Box Office is also open daily to purchase tickets to upcoming shows,” Mayor Cronin said.

Objectives outlined in this statement are aligned with the City of Busselton’s Council Plan (2024 - 2034) Key Theme Lifestyle – Our community is safe, welcoming and inclusive, with access to services and facilities to support good health and wellbeing.
