The City of Busselton is inviting residents, businesses and visitors to help shape the future of the Busselton City Centre and foreshore precinct, with community consultation opening on Monday 14 September 2026.
As the population continues to grow, the City is embarking on a long-term visioning process to guide the future development of the Busselton City Centre and ensure it remains vibrant, welcoming and connected for generations to come.
Acting Mayor Kate Cox said the consultation marks the beginning of an exciting journey and gives the community an opportunity to contribute from the outset.
"The Busselton City Centre and Busselton foreshore precinct are close to the heart of the whole community. As our incredible city continues to grow, it's important that its future reflects the values, aspirations and needs of the people who live, work and visit here," Acting Mayor Cox said.
"I encourage the community to help shape a shared vision before any formal plans are developed. This is a chance for people to share what they value most about the Busselton City Centre and what they would like to see in the future."
Community feedback will help identify key ideas, values and priorities that will inform the future direction of the Busselton City Centre.
Over the next 12 to 18 months, there will be several opportunities for the community to get involved and share ideas. The feedback received during this initial consultation will help guide the next stages of planning and design.
Consultation closes at 5.00pm on Sunday 25 October 2026.
Community members who complete the survey can also go into the draw to win one of two $100 Buy Local vouchers to spend at a Busselton City Centre business of their choice.
