The City advises that Councillor Richard Beecroft has resigned from his role as Councillor with the City of Busselton, effective immediately.
First elected to Council in early 2024 following the departure of Cr Sue Riccelli, Cr Beecroft has served on the Council for 18 months.
Cr Beecroft’s departure will result in his position being vacant until the next local government election in October 2025, where the remaining two years of his term will be filled.
Objectives outlined in this statement are aligned with the City of Busselton’s Council Plan (2024 - 2034) Key Theme Leadership – We actively engage with community to deliver visionary, collaborative and accountable leadership.
