Seniors across the City of Busselton are invited to connect, learn and stay active during WA Seniors Week, with a broad program of activities running from Monday 9 to Friday 13 November 2026.
The City’s Naturaliste Community Centre and Dunsborough Library have joined forces to deliver more than 25 free activities in Dunsborough, kindly supported by Dunsborough Lions. The Busselton Senior Citizens Centre will complement the program with free and low-cost activities throughout the week, as well as lunches at members’ prices.
Mayor Phill Cronin said the expanded program built on the success of the 2025 event held in Dunsborough and celebrated the important contribution seniors make to the community.
“Our older residents contribute so much to the character and social fabric of our communities, and Seniors Week is an opportunity to recognise that contribution while helping people remain active, connected and engaged,” he said.
“With activities spanning fitness, health, technology, creativity, storytelling and shared meals, there is something for everyone with a wide range of interests and abilities. The City hopes participants come away feeling energised, inspired and even more connected to their community.”
In Dunsborough, activities will run daily at the Naturaliste Community Centre, Dunsborough Library and John Edwards Pavilion. The program includes fitness and balance classes, health screenings and talks, technology and cyber security sessions, creative and memoir activities, an author talk, family history, Tai Chi and community lunches.
All Dunsborough events are free, with bookings required for most activities. To view the program and register, visit www.busseltonlibraries.com.au or call the Naturaliste Community Centre on 9755 3966.
