Ten community organisations will be sharing almost $85K of funding provided through Round 2 of the City of Busselton’s 2025/2026 Community Assistance Program.
This annual funding program enables the City to provide financial assistance throughout the year to a number of local community groups and not-for-profit organisations which enables them to deliver programs, services and projects that directly benefit the community. Applicants must demonstrate how they will provide enhanced social, environmental and cultural opportunities within the local community.
Mayor Phill Cronin said: “The City is proud to be able to support such a wide range of community-led initiatives that improve the lives of people across the community. Thank you to all groups who submitted applications for their motivation to progress so many valuable projects, and congratulations to those organisations that were successful with their applications.”
“The Council’s decision supports a mix of Assistance Grants and Revitalisation Grants, with two applicants being successful in applying for multi-year grants.”
An Advisory Panel assessed all the applications in October 2025 and made recommendations to the Council. The Council voted unanimously to support the allocations on 12 November 2025. The City intends to open Round 3 of its Community Assistance Program in February 2026. Further information in relation to this program may be found on the City’s website.
