Notice of a proposal to permanently close portion of Port Lane, Geographe

Pursuant to the Land Administration Act 1997, the City invites submissions to a proposal to permanently close a portion of public road. Referring to the map, an approximate 276m² portion of Port Lane, Geographe, is proposed to be closed. Should the road closure proceed in accordance with the Act, it is proposed the road land is amalgamated with adjoining property.

Please note that the area of road proposed to be closed is road verge only and does not affect the roadway or any constructed footpath.

The City is seeking written submissions to the proposal by Friday, 11 September 2026.

Submissions may be delivered by:

(a) email to city@busselton.wa.gov.au;

(b) post to the City of Busselton, Locked Bag 1, Busselton WA 6280; or

(c) handed to the Customer Service Desk, City Administration Office, Southern Drive, Busselton.
