Margaret River Region Open Studios
Saturday 12th September 2026 - Sunday 27th September 2026
Margaret River Region Open Studios is the largest event of its kind in Australia, offering visitors the unique opportunity to step inside the creative spaces of more than 150 artists across the Margaret River Region.
Over 16 days, artists open their studios free of charge, inviting the public to experience where art is made, meet the makers, watch demonstrations, and purchase original artwork directly from the source. Stretching from Busselton to Augusta, the event celebrates the region's vibrant arts community while attracting thousands of visitors, supporting local businesses, and showcasing the Margaret River Region as a premier cultural tourism destination.
We are tickled pink to reveal that 155 talented artists will welcome you into their studios this year - from painters, potters and printmakers to jewellers, furniture makers and textile creators, illustrators and installation artists.
From Busselton to Augusta, artists will throw open their studio doors 12 to 27 September, welcoming you to explore, connect and create.
Their studios are spread across converted horse stables and hay sheds, inside their homes, train carriages, sea containers, old trading stores and purpose-built workshops.
Open Studios is an inclusive event, with creators just starting their artistic journeys alongside those who have been successful commercial artists for many years.
Please browse the artist profiles online at our website or pick up a FREE event guide from Busselton and Margaret River Visitor Centres, Jacksons Busselton, Saltwater and pletny of other tourism hotspots in the southwest.
